Three Gables

Located within the New Forest National Parks boundary, THREE GABLES was already a home of character, owned by the parents of the client. With fond memories of years spent in the property, the aspiration was to provide a contemporary series of modifications to the home to enhance existing accommodation whilst retaining the feel so beloved to the family. The design solution being to celebrate the existing gabled features of the bungalow, brining forward a new element to balance the composition. Between the two gables a new flat roofed spine was created, providing a clear and distinct entrance point to the home, with consequent views through of the gardens from wither direction for the keen horticulturist clients.
