Woodpeckers

Located in the delightfully named Wiltshire village of Lover, WOODPECKERS - in common with many bungalows in the area - was of a 1960's vintage with minimal relationship with the rural charm of the location. The new owners wished to address this issue, having purchased the property with the desire to transform Woodpeckers to engage with the surrounding landscape, supporting their love and interest for nature and art. The design solution realised these aspirations via a top lit orangery style rear extension along with a vaulted side extension - providing the light-filled inspirational and uplifting spaces sought, over viewing and experiencing the natural beauty of the forest location.
