Riverside

Located in a beautiful and tranquil riverside location, RIVERSIDE was originally a large detached bungalow which had been modified and extended to reflect a substantial chalet style home. However, whilst the additions had created a large overall footprint to the property, the balance between ground floor and first floor areas was heavily weighted in favour of the former. This, the client instructed, was not ideal for good family living as it meant splitting members of the family in respect of their bedroom and bathroom locations. The design approach therefore was to create a new striking contemporary spine to the property which housed the required family bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a large master suite overlooking the rear garden. As a result, the current GF bedrooms were released to increase and improve the GF provision for living spaces alongside a new annexe/guest room suite to the front of the house - spearate from the family at night.
