Beaconsfield
Landlocked in a popular residential neighbourhood, Beaconsfield provided potential for our client to realise both the opportunity and value introduced by utilising the 'brown field' site. Positioned in the rear garden of the client's host property (parent's home) the proposals presented by RiB ARCHITECTURE sought to explot the rapidly decending nature of the topography of the rear garden plot to create a split level 'upside down' dwelling for the owner's son and young family.

Warmly welcomed at PreApplication stages, the proposals eventually fell on ther alter of Local Planning policy which sought to avoid single dwelling development in favour of 6 to 8 where feasibly possible - the council 'logic' being that the approavl of our proposals may compromise potential for all neighbours to pool together in the future to create a medium sized development!
