Seymour
The project at Seymour sought to replace an existing bungalow on a large plot with 2 new semi detached dwellings. The present property had, unfortunately, been extended in a somewhat 'ad hoc' and additive manner over previous years and owners, leading to a series of compartmented space which were not considered appropriate for 21st century living.

These initial RiB ARCHITECTURE proposals referenced more recent development along the street, uising brick and render mix as the materials pallete. The massing of the semi-detached dwellings designed to give the appearance of a large Edwardian dwelling, a nod towards the vernacular prevalent in this area of the town.
