Whitehall
Located in the Poulner area of Ringwood, Whitehall was a somewhat unbalanced home with substantive family space on the ground floor but lesser scale of provision to the upper (first) floor level.

At RiB ARCHITECTURE, our design proposals here sought to improve the situation by adding a new level to the large rear Ground Floor extension (accommodating the main family Living space) - this level to house the new master suite with dressing area, bathroom en suite and recessed walk out balacony areas. The current restrictced staircase provision was also enhanced to create a more capacious and welcoming access to the new areas.

The design vocabulary was a reference to seaside (beach hut) vernacular, appreciated and loved by the clients - giving them their own seaside experience in the toen.
