Wynbury
Located in the Buckinghamshire town of High Wycombe, the plot at Wynbury Close formed a parcel of unused common land to be acquired by our clients for redevelopment. The plot was positioned of the main avenue of the existing estate and was of sufficient size and width to accommodate 2 new semi-detached properties, rear garden amenity and required car paking to the frontage. The orientation of the land at 90 degrees to the surrounding homes also promoted a scenario in which over viewing and any consequential impact(s) were negated.
The RiB ARCHITECTURE design was to be in keeping with the remainder of the estate and was received warmly at a local level. Unfortunately, the development did not proceed due to proposed upgrading of the main road at regional highways level and resultant density of vehicular traffic at peak times, which then had a 'knock on' impact upon the potential to add further volume of traffic leaving the estate (albeit minimal) onto this enhanced arterial route.
